We are taking every opportunity to recycle our refuse, purchase green sign products, and supporting green activities We realize that the earth is precious resource and everyone including sign companies should be do their part to save and recycle. Each and every year we make an effort to add new green products to our mix and find new opportunities to recycle. The following are just a few ways SIGN*A*RAMA Skokie has become green:1. We collect and recycle our paper cardboard.
2. Collect and recycle our scrap. (plastics, metals)
3. Re-use Scrap metals and boxes.
4. We sell light emitting diodes (LED). This saves energy over neon or fluorescent and eliminates the mercury needed for the neon tubes.
5. We give away our vinyl scraps to local area schools.
6. We use a programmable thermostat to save on heating and cooling
7. We use orange based cleaner (goo-gone) instead of VOC solvents
The following are some of the green products we currently sell:
1. Aluminum, Coroplast, PVC sign panels with recycled content
2. Real Estate Frames with recycled content
3. We print using Eco-solvent inks
4. We sell bamboo banner stands and accessories.
